- My first prayer request is for me to lean on God's understanding. God alone is seen as the Giver of wisdom and I need prayer in this because I tend to lean more on my understanding which is not much understanding at all, and most the times I never give God the chance to be God. I desire to glorify God and I need much prayer. On how to be a better husband, a better dad, a better leader and how to deal with other missionaries in the field of missions. Please lets together ask God to help us in every area of our lives be turned over to His control. We must have no will of our own, only a single pure desire to know His will and to do it! Lets pray together that we wait on God and that as we wait He makes the guidance so clear that we be obedient to His ways.
- Keep Ryan Slabach in your prayers. He is in the States attending meetings, conferences and other related things. Ryan,Vanesa Sanchez and Shavy will be flying together this week back to Costa Rica. They will need your prayers! I will pick them up at the Airport this Saturday so lift us all up that we have a great time of fellowship as we get windshield time driving across the mountain back home. Also Paula Rojas will be flying from Colombia and we are excited to have her come back. Please keep her in prayer also! All these names that I have mentioned are missionaries so ask God to please provide each and everyone of them with the needs they need to further the Kingdom of God. Especially Ryan who is our leader. Ask God to give Him the wisdom he needs to make the decisions he has been given to make that will glorify God and as God is glorified we know He is working for the good of all. Amen!
- Our Sunday Study has been steady. Last Sunday new faces were present but there are many who I have not seen in three weeks or so. Please lift up our study and ask God to put on our hearts the things we can be praying for to cause God to move in the hearts of those who attend. Ask God to give me wisdom to talk to these people and to be a part of their lives. I love Psalm 34:10 (NIV) "The lions may grow weak and hungry, but those who seek the LORD lack no good thing." I quote this Psalm because I know when we submit to Jesus we are free to live and experience life at its fullness just as Jesus has promised. I need that wisdom to let these people know the life they could have in Jesus. As I have dinner with these people or hang out with them, please ask God that He would use me to be that loving vessel to be real with these people I love so much. Never do I want it to be me preaching to them all the time. I want to love them and just be with them and live with them and as I do that I have faith that Jesus will do what He does. I get excited about this as I write because through your prayers I know that God listens and will respond. May the people here choose the way of the Cross and the work of the Holy Spirit and be transformed to the nature of Jesus. Please pray for healing, freedom and blessings to all.

Prayer Requests.
I always find it difficult to post a blog because I feel like my words are small compared to what God is doing in Costa Rica. Words need to be spoken in love and comfort and I ask God to speak for me in this blog. My prayer is that you see Jesus and understand what He is doing. For indeed we have a Redeemer and He is at work! May we all submit to God's providential dealings even when we don't always understand them. For our God who hangs the earth on nothing is at work, so please partner with me in the following prayers:
